This is my second sleeve. The first one I got was made from some sort of hard plastic material and I was so unhappy with it. I just assumed it would be soft when I bought it but it was not. If you're thinking about this one, go for it! I wasn't disappointed at all. It's so comfortable I don't know how anyone could be anything but thrilled. I can see how someone who is large might find it tight fitting, but I don't think it's a problem for most of us normal sized guys.
