Impulse Jack Rabbit Vibrator Review

for a couple of reasons. First, I have some experience with rabbit vibrators. I have owned both the Rabbit Pearl and the Jack Rabbit vibrators throughout the years, and considering my long history with these toys I feel qualified to write an informed review. The Jack Rabbit I currently own needs to be replaced, which is the second reason I wanted to write this review.

A little bit of information about me: I love what the Jack Rabbit does for me. The combination of internal and external stimulation is a fantastic concept. It works wonders for me and for most of the women I know who have tried it, and our sex lives are much better off for it. I'm not saying that everyone feels the same way, and I acknowledge that there are many women who don't even use vibrators in the first place, but for many of us who do, rabbit vibrators are a blessing.

I suppose I should start by talking about what the Jack Rabbit does for me and then compare that to the Impulse Jack Rabbit. My favorite feature has to be the vibrating bunny stimulator. I reluctantly choose it as a favorite because the combination of the bunny and the twisting shaft does things to my body that nothing else can.

 Impulse Jack Rabbit Vibrator

I have always been able to have clitoral orgasms, although sometimes it can take some effort, so I suppose I would consider buying a clitoral vibrator or at least using a standard vibrator on my clitoris if I had to choose. Nothing, though, can compare to the combination of the two sensations. The rabbit stimulator works so well for me because the ears and nose are contoured just right to fit my body snugly. The soft jelly ears feel wonderful as they vibrate. The combination of this and the twisting shaft, at the risk of repeating myself, is what works so well for me. I like the rotating beads well enough, but for me, this feature's contribution to my overall experience is minimal compared to the other two features.

I have always felt that the Jack Rabbit could be a bit quieter. I don't consider it noisy, but it's not a quiet vibrator. It's not as if I worry that my neighbors will hear me using it, but for my own comfort it would be nice if it made a little less noise. I have to concentrate to have an orgasm - that's just the way I am - and any noise is a distraction. Another feature that I would change on the Jack Rabbit is the control unit. It works well enough, but it is attached by a cord and isn't very attractive. I wouldn't call it ugly, and I never had an issue with it until I tried the Impulse Jack Rabbit.

This leads me to the fun part of my review - all the good things about the Impulse Jack Rabbit. And let me say that there are many. I'll start with the controls. I mentioned that I never had an issue with the Jack Rabbit's separate control unit until I tried the Impulse Jack Rabbit. This is because I never knew what I was missing! It's not the most important thing in the world but it is nice to have the controls right there on the base. Beyond the control placement the actual controls have been changed too. Instead of the rolling dial - one each for the bunny stimulator and the twisting shaft/rotating pearls - they have moved to a push button design. I don't know if there is really that much of a difference between the new and the old, but the buttons are lighted and a little more high tech. It kind of brings the Jack Rabbit out of the 90's and into the new millennium.

Another significant difference between the two vibrators is that the Impulse Jack Rabbit is much quieter than the older version. I don't know how they did it but it is very, very quiet. I read in the description that it was one of the quietest vibrators we carry and I believe it. It makes a slight whirring noise but that's about it. Oh the wonders of modern technology.

The final difference I noticed was that the Impulse Jack Rabbit is a little higher quality. The Jack Rabbit isn't low quality, but it could be better. I guess they decided to take care of that with the new version and I'm happy they did. It's nice to have a toy that looks and feels like it will last for a long time. The original version has always worked well for me and it will always be a vibrator that I could count on, but the Impulse Jack Rabbit is one step above and it's a nice feeling to own it.

As far as negatives, I can't really find any. The price is higher but with this vibrator you do get what you pay for. It is a quality toy in a sea of inexpensive toys. Functionally there is nothing that I would change.

So those are the primary difference between the two vibrators. I spared the "oh my god the Jack Rabbit is so wonderful" stuff because, well, it is, and there are a lot of women who have heard it a million times. If you have never tried a rabbit vibrator, I highly recommend that you do. Hopefully my experience can help you make the best choice for you.
