7 Inch Flex Vibrator Review

I have always wanted to try a toy that was studded from top to bottom. I don't know if it is the result of reading too many erotic stories or just a sense of adventure, but the idea has always turned me on.

At 26 years old I have used almost a dozen different toys, but I never really found a toy that was studded exactly the way I thought it should be. So naturally when I saw that Body Vibes had added the 7-Inch Flex to their line-up, I jumped on it.

The 7-Inch Flex is a beautiful toy. It is 7 inches tall and a realistic 1-1/4" in diameter. Much to my delight, even though the toy pictured has a yellow exterior with a red "spine", mine was purple with a bright green spine - two of my favorite colors! The skin of the toy is made of a soft translucent jelly. This jelly is uniformly covered in four columns of studs which run from top to bottom and there is also a very pleasant raised "swirl" which spirals from top to bottom of this toy as well. Just touching this toy, I knew I was in for a big treat.

Besides being an unimaginable tactile experience, the other thing which sets this toy apart from all others is it's bendable spine. This feature allows you to bend this toy into any shape you want to so you can have a straight vibrator and g-spot style vibrator in one.

The first time I used this toy I was immediately in heaven. I had to use some lube so that the studs would slide easily in and out of me, but this was hardly an inconvenience. The texture and softness of the jelly was perfect and the combination of the studs and the raised swirl along the toy felt more intense than any other toy I had ever used before. I loved the powerful sensations that this toy gave me. I found that even sliding this toy extremely slowly inside of me with the vibrator turned off was mindnumbingly pleasurable as I could feel every little bit of this toy as it went in and rubbed me.

Even though I wasn't sure that this toy's bendability would enhance the experience, I found myself loving it. Within minutes I was experimenting with different angles and curvatures and found that by twisting and bending this toy various ways I was able rub myself in ways that I never could before with straight toys.

I was curious as to how powerful the vibrations were on this toy and I was not disappointed at all. Even though the top end of the power range isn't quite as strong as I would ideally like, the texturing of this toy more than makes up for it and with the vibrator turned on, the sensation was almost too much to stand until I had gotten more used to it. One thing I really like was how quiet the motor was. While it is not the quietest toy in the world, I could probably easily get away with using it if someone was in the next room. Definitely so if there was ambient noise.

There are only a couple things that I would really change about this toy. Primarily, I wish it was just a little bit thicker. I might be spoiled at this point, but I've gotten really used to the wider 1-1/2" toys. Although more than likely the average user won't complain because the studs and twists on this toy more than make up for that, and the width of this toy is about the size of the real thing. I also found that I had to be careful sometimes with the tip as it is a little pointy and I didn't want to hurt myself. I would have preferred a more rounded head. Secondly, I wish that this toy used AA instead of AAA batteries. This is really a very minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to be able to share batteries with my other toys.

Overall, I highly recommend the 7-Inch Flex if you are looking for a very wild, very intense tactile experience and you like the idea of being able to curve and bend your toy in ways that were never possible with other toys. This toy is definitely a keeper. The material is perfect, this toy is very easy to clean and the price is great. And if you like this toy, another similar toy you may want to try is the Pink Dot Vibe. However, if you don't think you will enjoy the studs or you are new to sex toys, I would probably recommend something more "tame" to ease into like the Flexible Jelly Vibe or the Dazzle.
