X-Treme Twist Vibrator Review

It's 7-½" long, 7" of which is insertable. Its girth is on the large ide with a solid 1-½" diameter (5" circumference). I like to think of vibrators as fun toys and so I've always loved bright colors. The X-Treme Twist is a bright neon green, and much to my amusement also glows in the dark. Though I have yet to test this feature I expect I definitely will. The overall appearance of this toy is very aesthetically attractive and also a nice turn-on.

I have a decent amount of vibrator experience. At 25 I have owned and used about 6 different vibrators and currently have 4 in rotation. Among them, I also own aDazzle, which is one of my favorite vibrators.

I had been searching for a new vibrator for a while, and being picky about my toys it took me a little while before I finally settled on the Twist. I was really excited about the opportunity to review this toy and even more excited when I got this present in the mail the very next day.

One thing I was really attracted to was the way the vibrator was ribbed, as I really get off on the texture of my toys. I noted, however, that in person the vibrator is slightly smoother and the ridges less dramatic than what I had imagined it would be from the picture.

Another big bonus for this toy is that it is waterproof. Although I don't generally use my toys in the tub or in the shower, it's always a huge plus to have the option. I also find that waterproof vibrators are easier to clean off too as you don't have to worry about getting water on the base.

So there I was with my new toy, more than excited to review it. I had the house all to myself for the evening so I knew I'd be able to take my time and take this toy through its courses. After showering I took out my new toy and loaded the batteries.

Holding it, the vibrator has the perfect weight to it. It feels very solid and well constructed but not heavy - something which I very much like. The surface is a semi soft 'Jell-Lee' material while under the surface it is hard. As such this is a slightly harder vibrator with some give on the surface but no bend to it like some of the softer and more flexible vibrators I've used.

After examining the feel and texture of the vibrator I slowly turned up the power dial, starting at first low then going to high. This vibrator definitely was intense enough for me, as it was powerful enough to lightly numb my hand at full power and I found that the power of this vibrator was more than enough inside me. In fact, turning it all the way up was too intense to bear for more than a few moments. I also love how the vibrator motor is close to the top. I can feel the vibrations very strongly at the head as well along the top of the shaft.

I was very right about how great the ribbed feel of the vibrator was inside me. It definitely added to the sensations and felt very very good. Although I would have originally preferred something with slightly sharper ridges like the Dazzle, I found that a very pleasant unexpected side effect was that this vibrator was very smooth, much smoother than other vibrators I have used (with the exception of the flat slimlines) and I found that this smoothness combined with the nice ribbing felt very good sliding in and out of me. This ribbing felt particularly good when going very slow.

Overall, I really like the X-Treme Twist. It's very pretty, very well constructed and it has more than enough power. I also found the thickness to be perfect for me. I also love that it is waterproof and glows in the dark. I've already used this toy a few times and plan on keeping it in heavy rotation. I'm very happy with this vibrator and would recommend it to anyone.
